KASSENSCHLUSS – SUPERMARKT IM FRÜHEREN KASSENSAAL DES WIENER BANKVEREINS – VON KBIA, DORNBIRN
Zentralheizung, Telefonplätze, elektrisches Licht: Im Eröffnungsjahr 1912 galt das Hauptgebäude des Wiener Bankvereins an der Ring-straße als modernstes Bankhaus seiner Zeit. Dreh- und Angelpunkt war die ehrwürdige Kassenhalle im Erdgeschoss des Prachtbaus.
Heute wird hier Geld ausgegeben statt angespart – vor Kurzem ist ein Nobel-Supermarkt eingezogen. Unter den wachsamen Augen des Denkmalamts setzten Kulmus Bügelmayer Interior & Architecture aus Dornbirn hier ein anspruchsvolles Ladenbaukonzept um.
Central heating, telephone stations, electric light: in 1912, the year it was opened, the main building of the Wiener Bankverein was considered the most modern bank of its time. The focal point was the venerable teller hall on the ground floor of the magnificent building.
Today, money is spent here instead of saved – a posh supermarket recently moved in. Under the watchful eye of the monument preservation authority, Kulmus Bügelmayer Interior & Architecture from Dornbirn implemented a sophisticated shopfitting concept.
